Explore how to make oval, irregular shaped, and squared off pottery all on the wheel. Rita will demonstrate how to shape pieces wet on the wheel and how to finish them when leather hard. Practice throwing these shapes and learn how to complete them. Members will also explore altering rims on leather hard pieces and shaping lids for oval pots, so they should come prepared with at least one leather hard bowl form. Clay will be provided for the wet work portion of this workshop.
