Description
In this class, students will explore a variety of handbuilding techniques to create both decorative and functional pieces.   Pinching, coiling, and working with slabs will be explored to create an array of items–for example: vases, plates, serving pieces, mugs, and small animal sculptures. Techniques for decorating with carving, sgraffito, texture, and stamping will also be demonstrated. All skill levels welcome.

In addition to weekly class, students may practice during Open Studio on Mondays 4-9pm, Wednesdays 10am-6pm, and Fridays 4-9pm (first come, first serve).
