Description
In this hand building class, students will create their own garden totem. The instructor will walk students through the design and creation of all components needed to assemble a garden totem about 2'–4' tall. There is a $25 materials fee for this class, as all students will be provided with a cement and rebar base. Garden totems are built in small sections and then each piece is assembled on the rebar like large beads, which makes this project approachable for all levels of clay skill. Completed garden totems can be displayed indoors or outdoors.

In addition to weekly class, students may practice during Open Studio on Mondays 4-9pm, Wednesdays 10am-6pm, and Fridays 4-9pm (first come, first serve).
