COVID 19 Policy
Our policy may be updated according to current local, state, and CDC guidelines. Please be respectful of others, keep distance if needed, and if you are not feeling well, please stay home!
General Studio Rules
Dogs are not permitted in the studio. Smoking is not allowed in the studio or outside on the sidewalk. If you need to smoke, please walk around the building to the parking lot in the back. Always wear clothes that can get dirty, closed toe shoes, and tie your hair back. Be sure to remove any jewelry and do not store valuable items at the studio. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
We are a LBGTQIA+ friendly community and and ask that everyone treat each other with respect.
Equipment
The kilns and pug mill are reserved for Wheelhouse staff only. Students and members may use the slab roller with prior instruction and training. If you have any questions or are unsure if you can use a piece of equipment, please ask.

Cancellation Policy
For classes and Date Nights, cancellations requested more than 7 days before the class begins will be fully refunded, less the service fee (which is collected by our website provider and is non-refundable). Cancellations requested fewer than 7 days before the class are non-refundable. Students may transfer to another class, depending on availability, for a $20 fee.
To request a cancellation, please email info@wheelhouseclay.com.
If a class does not fill sufficiently, we may cancel it one week prior to the first class in which case students may choose to receive a full refund or transfer to another class (subject to availability).
Weather Policy
Class may be cancelled in the event of extreme weather. Students will be notified as soon as possible. If this happens, we will schedule a make-up class that works with the majority of people's schedules.
Clay & Finished Work
Outside clay is not allowed, no exceptions. Students receive one 25lb bag of clay. Students and members must pick up work within 30 days of being unloaded from the kiln, otherwise it will be donated.
Open Studio
Students have Open Studio time on Mondays 4:00pm - 9:00pm, Wednesdays from 10:00am - 6:00pm and Saturdays from 12:30pm - 4:30pm.
Members have access to the studio every day, 6:00am - 11:00pm. Please review the full Membership Policy here.
Making Up A Missed Class
Students may make up a class by attending another class the same week as the missed class, depending on availability. If all classes are at capacity, then making up a missed class will not be possible.
